Wayne Strachan
Wayne-Strachan
Senior Partner, Baker Tilly, FCA, FCCA, MBA

Wayne is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of England (ACCA). He qualified as a chartered accountant in June 1995, became a member of the ICAJ and ACCA in March 1996 and May 1996 respectively, and has held a practicing certificate since May 2001. He holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with the Manchester School of Business. 

Wayne worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers for over ten (10) years where he held various positions including that of Assistant Manager, Assurance and Business Advisory Services. He later joined Courts (Jamaica) Limited in October 2001 and has held various positions including that of Financial Controller/Company Secretary. In January 2005, he became an entrepreneur by forming the partnership, Baker Tilly Strachan Lafayette. Wayne is currently a full-time practitioner with the firm Baker Tilly Strachan Lafayette. Wayne was also a member of the Board of Directors of C & WJ Cooperative Credit Union Limited, serving in the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Committee and subsequently Vice President. Wayne is the Immediate Past President of the Rotary Club of St. Andrew - 2016/17. 

Wayne Strachan also serves as a director of the Board of Housing Agency of Jamaica and the St. Joseph's Hospital.

Emile Lafayette
Partner, FCA, FCCA, MBA

Emile Lafayette has had a long and distinguished career in the field of accounting and auditing spanning over twenty years. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of England (ACCA). He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1996, became a member of the ICAJ and ACCA in 1997. Emile Lafayette also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with the Manchester School of Business.

Emile worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers for over ten (10) years where he held various positions including that of Audit Manager, Assurance and Business Advisory Services. He was in charge of several large and medium size clients including companies listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange. Emile joined Courts (Jamaica) Limited in 2002 as Internal Audit Manager, a position he held for five (5) years, until he was promoted as the Regional Internal Audit Manager for the Caribbean. Effective, January 2009, Emile Lafayette became a full-time practitioner at Baker Tilly Strachan Lafayette.

Emile Lafayette is the Vice Chairman of the Audit Practice Committee and sits on the Investigations Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ). He is also the Chairman of the Practitioners Development Sub-Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ). Emile Lafayette is also the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Stella Maris Preparatory School and Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Franciscan Missionary Sister (FMS).

Roxiana Malcolm-Tyrell
Principal, FCA; FCCA; MBA; BSc.

Roxiana Malcom-Tyrell is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of England (ACCA). She qualified as a chartered accountant in December 1997, became a member of the ACCA and ICAJ in July 1998 and December 2003 respectively. She holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with the Manchester School of Business. Roxiana holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of the West Indies. 

Roxiana has over 26 years of accounting and auditing experience. She started her professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she worked between 1994 and 1999. She held various positions including that of Senior Accountant, Assurance and Business Advisory Services. She later joined Radio Jamaica Limited in October 1999 where she served for a period of ten (10) years and has held various positions including that of Group Financial Controller. In April 2010, she joined Seprod Group where she worked for seven (7) years holding several positions including that of Group Finance Manager. In January 2017, Roxiana joined Jamaica Cooperative Credit Union League Limited as Group Chief Financial Officer. Effective, January 2019, Roxiana Malcolm-Tyrell joined the firm as a Principal.
